VS29 Trombone S2 era patch
2006 Reunion patch

Military.com web page for VS-29 there are several postings
inquiring about VS-29 patches. Since VS-29 changed its patch in 1973
and then was decommissioned in the mid 70's, no patches are
available, especially the old tromboner patch. The graphic above was created to use at the 2006 reunion in Albuquerque. No patches were made but it was used on pins and printed materials. It is very similar to the 1960's patch. I have gotten quotes from two patch sources:
2.50" patches with full embroidered thread: 50 pieces: $3.15
each 100 pieces: $2.20 each
Qty. 100 – 2.5" x 2.5" Custom 100% Embroidered Patch - $ 1.78 each I have no experience with either of these sources and can not vouch for their quality, but they do a lot of them.
